So, What Happened During Those 30 Days?

The truth is I don't remember, but I can tell you where I am now and that the Holy Spirit has transformed my every desire.

I quit my job that year, rented out my house, sold 90 percent of my belongings, moved into an RV and left the pursuit of the world for the pursuit of God. I have committed my life to obeying God's words. "If you love me, you will keep my commandments." (John 14:15) I love God, therefore I keep His commandments.

I am now an evangelist. My goal everyday I wake up is to glorify God with my actions and with my words. I am seeking to save souls because we are commanded to, "Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel to the whole creation." (Mark 16:15) Those who do not call upon the Lord for salvation will perish and be cast out into the eternal fire. How can I claim that I believe this yet not warn people of the coming judgment and punishment if they do not turn from their sins? I would be nothing more than a hypocrite.

We traveled by RV for half a year until we were motivated by the Holy Spirit to set up a free hostel for climbers in Bishop, CA. That is where we are now, waiting for the Lord to provide us with the things of the world we need to start the hostel. In the mean time we are in prayer for the proclamation of the Kingdom of God. Please, believe that God created you in His image to live for eternity. Believe that you are nothing more than a sinner and you cannot do anything to appear holy in God's eyes. Your good deeds to not atone for your bad, and because of this you will be judged, found guilty and sent to hell. But, also believe that Jesus Christ came to die for your sins so that you may have a way to live eternally with God. Believe that you must call on the name of the Lord to accept this gift. And, upon believing this, God will give you a new heart with new desires to obey His commands and live your life as a slave to our one true and perfect God. I urge you to pursue righteousness by practicing self-control because the coming judgment will be upon us.
